About the speaker
Carmen Rodríguez Quirós serves as General Manager of INPRO, the IT company of the Diputación de Sevilla, bringing extensive experience in the digital transformation of local public administration.
Summary of the presentation
Disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) are rapidly transforming society. Public administrations — and especially local government, the tier closest to citizens — must be a key actor in fostering an ethical and sustainable digital transformation that delivers real improvements in the efficiency and quality of public services. This talk addresses the strategies needed to tackle the many existing challenges and to achieve a safe, controlled deployment of AI in the public sector.
